This was one incredibly LOUD concert. A general admission show indoors, tickets cost all of $8.50 for both Sabbath and a relatively unknown opening act touring for their first album, an ex-club band named Van Halen. Ozzy was at the peak of his performing years, and he and the rest of the boys put on one hell of a show. My brother asked the sound booth techs how much power they were running through the PAs. They proudly told him 220,000 watts. Nearly a quarter of a million watts indoors. I'm surprised I can still hear. I am glad I got to see Ozzy with Sabbath before the big split. They rocked! Kj
